There were several lessons that Cole learned and applied to his life while on the island, including how to overcome his anger. He also learned about the importance of creating a totem pole and took this upon himself to do while on the island. On Cole's totem pole he included the following animals: a seal's head, a sparrow in a nest, and a raven. But he did not only include animals, Cole also included objects such as a lightning bolt, a circle, and a raindrop. If you had the opportunity to create your own totem pole what would you include and why?
